Project description

Learn how to crochet by making preemie hats for Northside Cherokee Special Care Nursery. The goal is 50 hats for the March of Dimes event in the spring.

Our goal is to

1. Learn how to crochet.

2. Support a hospital in our community.

Hats from rectangle
With this pattern, you make a rectangle and sew into a hat.

Crochet three sizes of hearts to add to any project.

Blog with granny square patterns.
Someone suggested that after the preemie hats, that we could crochet a collaborative granny square blanket to auction for a fundraiser or donation to RU. I have to check on the financial part of this, but doing a group blanket is a great idea!
